work is tiring and as soon as someone mentions the word coffee you’re all ears! however, save that £3 on your latte to go and stick to making drinks in your office kitchen. it’s a really hard habit to break but you can do it! if you really want to- try to only buy one coffee per week (which works out to £156 per year!) does your phone provider do any deals? customers on O2 can download O2 priority and get a free Café Neros every Tuesday- perfect!
do you work near a hot spot for eating out? eating out is a great experience but doing it every day for lunch is spoiling yourself! meal prep lunch to save money. say a typical lunch is £4, eating out once per week for a year is £208! eating out five times a week for a year is more than £1000!
is driving to and from work a pain? try sharing lifts with someone who commutes close to. taking it in turns will reduce your petrol and parking by half! do you get the bus? buying a weekly or monthly ticket is better value than paying for each individual journey! better yet give walking or cycling a go- it’s free!
I bet you don’t! take a real look in your wardrobe and see what you have. I bet you’ve got something that you’ve forgotten about. if you need new clothes, just get what you need and no more! or at least put a cap on your shopping budget.
what happened to try before you buy? be honest, have you ever had clothes delivered to your door that you didn’t like in person and then forgot to return? as easy as it is to buy with one click, don’t make any rash decisions when you do your clothes shopping online.
